When I was going through school I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life, I had always said I wanted to be a teacher but I just wasn't sure if I wanted to work in a school. It wasn't until my friends mum did my nails that I thought this could be something I would really love and be able to show my creative side off. So as soon as I left school I looked into doing a nail course and thought that if I did beauty therapy in college that could be my starting point. but i didn't want to do just manicures and pedicures so just before I started college I went on a weeks course to learn acrylic and gel enhancements, and I loved it! It was a lot harder than I thought and a lot of theory work but I found myself spending all the free time I had after college and on my days off just practicing all the time and making my friends come in and let me do nails on them all the time. I continued to practice and do my level 2 and 3 in beauty therapy, but I knew nails was always going to be the thing that I stuck at. I had always loved glitter and acrylic design and I made this my signature thing as there probably isn't a set of nails I've done where theres not been a bit of glitter added somewhere! I just love how much fun you can have with glitters and how creative you can get with them. I've also just done my first ever photographic competition which i came 3rd in the nail art category at professional beauty Manchester and won the voters choice I had so much fun doing that and cannot wait to compete in future competitions. I cannot wait to start teaching and just helping people anyway I can and I'm excited for what the future holds now!
