I took my first nail course in 2009, continuing to update my skills on a regular basis. After falling in love with the nail industry, I qualified as a CND Education Ambassador in 2011 and held that role for the past 5.5 years until joining the HD team in search of new challenges and fresh skills.
After numerous nail classes with Hazel and other talented educators over the past few years , I took the jump into competing a year and a half ago- both in industry awards and live competitions. In this time I have placed both 3rd, 2nd and 1st (in that order!) in Mixed Media showcase categories third in Gel polish and 5th in my first 'Competition pink and white' category.
I was runner up for Babtac Nail professional of the year 2016 and finalist in Scratch stars Liquid and Powder professional of the year 2016. I am also shortlisted as a finalist for Professional Beauty Nail professional of the year 2017.
Highlight's of my career have been designing and creating crazy nails from concept through to catwalk runway for designers Vin and Omi at London Fashion week in 2016, working for Vogue magazines 100 anniversary festival, as well as working on nails for Sweet Squared at the London Olympics.
I'm crossing my fingers 2017 is going to be able to live up to the high's of 2016, Im sure that with joining such an inspirational team of girls at Hazel Dixon Nail artist academy is going to make that possible!
Roll on to 2019 and one of my dreams came true! winning multiple awards at the International Nailympia Competition, the hard work, dedication and continued practice paid off. Im looking forward to seeing what 2020/20201 will bring.
